I love tiramisu. It’s delicious. It just tastes fancy. There’s something about that blend of coffee and cream and everything delicious that makes my mouth water.
But it’s also kind of a pain in the butt to make. All of those layers! Don’t worry, though– you can totally serve the best tiramisu ever, without really serving tiramisu. With this easy tiramisu dip, you’ll give your guests (or yourself!) all of the flavor without any of the work that actual tiramisu requires.
To make this easy, delicious tiramisu dip, you’ll need a tub of Cool Whip, a tub of whipped cream cheese, some instant coffee packets, a little bit of sugar, and Famous Chocolate Wafers.
Now here’s the really hard part… actually making the dip. You see, to make tiramisu dip, you have to go through a really tricky process… except no, wait, you don’t. You literally pour all of the ingredients into a bowl and stir until they’re well-blended. Then you chill it for about an hour to let the flavors really integrate, give it another quick stir, and then serve.
It’s seriously that easy.
I wanted to make mine look dinner-party ready, so I do have one more tip to share with you for any creamy dip. If your dip is whipped and delicious, you can make it extra fancy by piping it with a piping bag. I decided to use these Oxo Good Grips silicone bottles that I got for participating in the Food Blogger Cookie Swap, and they worked really well (best part being that it’s dishwasher safe, which has a one-up on disposable piping bags).
I like to pipe dips into a single-serve container for my parties, so guests can just grab a container and mingle. And this dip is so tasty that you can serve it with a spoon just as easily as with the wafer cookies!
- 1 Pkg (8 ounces) Cool Whip
- 1 Pkg Whipped Cream Cheese
- 4 Packets Instant Single-Serve Coffee
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafer Cookies
- Mix cool whip, cream cheese, coffee, and sugar together in a bowl until well-blended.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour, then serve with wafer cookies.
- Great tip: use a piping bag and star tip to serve this dip in single-serve containers for party guests.
