The season of Halloween Class Parties is upon us. Even if you’re not a room volunteer, there are so many big celebrations for Halloween coming up, which is why unique snacks and crafts are key. I’ve got some easy treats and a fun craft that is perfect for one kid or thirty, making it perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a little spooky fun. These pudding toppers are effortless and so fun for everyone!
A simple table with Snack Pack® Pudding Cups, NABISCO Go-Paks!, Reddi-wip®, and more will give you a super spooky party without a ton of effort.
Start with a trip to Walmart, where you can get everything you need for your Halloween festivities. I picked up Snack Pack® Pudding Cups, which are available in many great flavors and varieties, located in the candy and seasonal section at my store, some NABISCO Go-Paks! located at the front of the store, and Reddi-wip®. You’ll also want to get your favorite Halloween candies, Crunch-N-Munch, and some coconut for tinting green.
Some stores feature an awesome Buy 14.3oz OREOs get $1 off Super Snack Pack Pudding coupon, so be sure to look for it!
There’s also an awesome coupon for BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE NABISCO Go-Paks! Buy ONE (1) Snack Pack® Pudding and get ONE (1) FREE (up to $1.00) NABISCO Go-Paks! (2.25 oz. or larger) to print before you hit the store.
There are a million great ways to upgrade your snack, but today, I’m sharing 5 of those ideas with you. The first idea is the most involved, but also SO much fun. Start with a simple shortbread cookie– you’ll need 1 cup of butter, softened, 1/2 a cup packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon each of vanilla, baking powder, and cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon salt, and 3 cups of flour, plus some extra for flouring the surface. Combine these ingredients in a bowl.
Roll out the dough, then use hand-shaped cookie cutters to make zombie hands. As zombies don’t have the most… well… alive hands, it’s okay if your hands are partially destroyed or missing, like this hand on the edge. You can also get creative and cut out tombstones or other fun shapes for Halloween. Bake these at 400 for roughly 5-7 minutes, then cool them completely before decorating them with your favorite royal icing recipe.
To make a super cute, super spooky Zombie hand pudding, start with a deliciously creamy chocolate Snack Pack® Pudding Cup. Start by topping it with Reddi-wip®, then crush a few OREO cookies from a NABISCO Go-Paks! cup to form “dirt.” Add tinted coconut to the top to make grass, then insert a Zombie hand cookie into the top. You can also add some gel frosting like blood, or leave it as-is, depending on how creepy you want to make it!
Another super cute option? To take a Chocolate-Vanilla Snack Pack® Pudding Cup, top it with Reddi-wip® and coconut or your favorite Halloween candy, and some Teddy Grahams from a NABISCO Go-Paks! cup. You can even add a creepy detail by frosting them with blood-colored gel icing on their mouths, necks, arms, and more. Eek!
Because no Zombie inspired treat is complete without some braaaaaiiiins, you can easily make a Brains Cup by taking a vanilla Snack Pack® Pudding Cup and covering it neatly with Reddi-wip®. Next, pile on some Crunch-N-Munch to look like brains (check out all of those crevices from the popcorn texture), and use frosting to draw hemispheres and veins in the brain.
A tower of Snack Pack® Pudding Cups in a variety of flavors will encourage your guests to get creative with these ideas or any others they would love.
Pudding cups are perfectly portable, which makes them great for taking along to a class party, and letting kids dress them up on their own (or enjoying them at home with your own kids… or kids at heart, of course!)
NABISCO Go-Paks! are another great portable snack– it’s all of your favorite NABISCO treats, like Chips Ahoy! and OREO, in sealed cups to take along in the car, to soccer practices, and to school… and the best part is, they’re a perfect craft idea, too! Take a variety to class and allow kids to cover them in paper, peel-and-stick wiggly eyes, paper cut out teeth, and more. You can even make a game of it with dice and have rules– “If you roll a 1, you must add an eye. If you roll a 2, you add teeth. If you roll a 3, add eyebrows.” Or, you can see who can create the creepiest monster cup with the supplies! There are so many options.
Plus, the fact that they’re nice and contained makes them perfect for adding plenty of delicious mix-ins! I used an OREO NABISCO Go-Paks! cup and spooned in chocolate Snack Pack® Pudding. Then, I sliced up some maraschino cherries, closed the lid, and shook my treat until everything was coated in pudding. A little Reddi-wip® on top is the finishing touch for this Black Spooky Forest cup!
Doesn’t it look delicious?
My son added some teeth, eyes, and angry eyebrows to his Teddy Grahams NABISCO Go-Paks! cup.
We then added Vanilla Snack Pack® Pudding, Crunch-N-Munch, and coconut for a spooky treat that looked like monster brains!
There’s just something about the number of options that you can make from a few simple items that make them perfect for parties or for home.

These turned out adorable and I just love how you decorated the little snack packages on the outside! I bet the kiddos would love the creative construction paper craft! #client
Thank you! We had a blast decorating them and can’t wait to re-create the activity at the class Halloween party.
