Okay, so, I’m a huge fan of those little candy eyes that you can find in stores at Halloween. Is it just me, or do they make everything a little more adorable? There are so many great ways to use them, but I think I’ve just discovered my favorite– this melted ghost chocolate bark! It is SO easy to make that it will seriously take you only a couple of minutes of prep, and the whole family will love how adorable these spooky melted ghosts look! Plus, with these, you’ll be the hit of the Halloween party!
These spooky melted ghosts start with a sheet of parchment paper, which allows the chocolate to be broken more easily later (essentially, you lift the parchment, and peel it right off! No more chocolate stuck to a pan). Spread it with pretzels for a salty-sweet treat, or use your favorite lighter colored foods (think cookies and cream pieces, golden Oreo chunks, bits of candy or cookies, or even potato chips!)
Next, melt white chocolate almond bark. This can be found in the baking aisle of almost any store. Pour it over the pretzels and spread it carefully, covering the entire area.
Finally, poke in some eyes. Place them at random, in pairs or all alone, and make it sporadic. Just fill in any spots that look a little bare. Chill your bark for an hour, or until chocolate is completely firm.
It’s seriously that easy. No effort, no oven necessary. Just melt some white chocolate in the microwave, pop some eyes on, and you’re good to go. Because this is so easy, you can get kids to help– they’re the best at putting the eyes in place!
- 1/2 bag pretzels or any other sweet or salty treats of choice
- 1 package white chocolate almond bark
- 1 package candy eyes
- Spread pretzels on parchment lined baking sheet
- Melt chocolate, then pour it over pretzels and carefully spread
- Add eyes to wet chocolate, then chill for 1 hour or until chocolate is firm
- Break into pieces and serve

This is so cute! I’m excited that I finally live in a place where I can make chocolate bark. Yum!

I hope you enjoy it!
What size pan?
You’ll want to use a large pan that allows you to spread the chocolate out to about 1/4 inch thick, or use two smaller pans. I used a Jelly Roll-sized pan and it worked perfectly. There’s no need to spread the chocolate to cover the entire surface of the pan– simply spread it to the right thickness and you’ll be fine! Hope that helps.
