You’re right in the middle of the Mega Game. The one you’ve waited all year to see. Or maybe you’re in the middle of the show that falls right smack in the middle of the big game and it’s just… this epic performance. You don’t want to look away for a second. And then you hear it… “Hey, can you tell me where the bathroom is?” I mean, everyone hosting a game day party totally loves their guests, but trust me, that guest does not want to interrupt and ask any more than you want to miss something important by telling them… so today, I’m going to show you how to tackle that game day problem (and help you avoid missing a second of your favorite game!) with a super cute free printable.

To make a super cute game day sign, you’re going to want to grab a few things… first, you’ll need the free printable (designed with a left pointing arrow and a right pointing arrow, so you can print the sign or signs that will lead the way to the bathroom in YOUR house), printed on cardstock or heavy weight paper. Second, you’ll need some school glue, and finally, you’ll want some glitter in your favorite team’s color. (Neutral? You can never go wrong with green for the field and brown for the ball!)

You can, of course, just print out the printable and hang the sign up around the house… but is it really a party without a little bit of glitter? I don’t think so (but maybe I’m biased… I love glitter!) Trace select parts of the sign with your glue. I like to use a toothpick to spread the glue into points, corners, and small crevices to make sure I’ve gotten everything!

Next, generously sprinkle glitter on. Wait about 3-5 minutes for the glue to start to set, then tap off the excess glitter onto a plate. I find working in small sections is easiest, so the glue doesn’t dry before you add the glitter to the page.

If you have stray glitter that got to other parts of the page, there is a suuuper simple fix that you can try. Simply take a little bit of tape, wrap it around your fingers, and dab it on the areas where you don’t want glitter. It’ll pick up the glitter, leaving you with a much neater final appearance!

Then, simply let the whole page dry for an hour or two to make sure it’s fully set.

Tack the sign up around the house, letting people know exactly which way to go! Because I’ve included both arrows, you can easily line the way with signs, so everyone knows where to go if they need a little time out during Game Day festivities.

But when you’re the playmaker, your job doesn’t end by just showing your guests where to go. You want to make sure they have everything they need once they get where they’re going… don’t have a game day fumble– your bathroom can be game day ready with just a few simple additions.

One thing I have to have on hand for Game Day are Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong® Mega Rolls, which I typically pick up when I’m shopping at Target for my game day needs.

Now that you’ve tackled two major game day bathroom issues, all you have to worry about is making the bathroom feel a little more inviting to your guests!

I like to swap out my usual hand towel with something more game day themed, and I always try to remove anything personal from the medicine cabinet… we all love our guests, but be real: who hasn’t snooped in a bathroom cabinet once or twice?

It doesn’t take much effort to be the hostess with the mostess when the Mega Game arrives this year… simply make sure your guests know where to go (remember, you can get the free printables here, both left arrow and right arrow), make sure you use Quilted Northern Mega Rolls to ensure no one gets stuck in the bathroom without toilet paper, and add in a few extra touches to make sure your bathroom is guest-ready.
