I love tacos. Tacos are pretty much amazing every day of the week, not just Taco Tuesdays. I haven’t met a taco that I don’t like– beef tacos, chicken tacos, Asian fusion tacos, soft shelled or hard shelled tacos, any kinds of tacos… they’re all delicious. But I’ve discovered a super easy way to make tacos that are ready when you get home. Crock Pot Street Tacos! These are super easy and so delicious that the whole family will love them!
Start by pouring half of a jar of your favorite picante sauce in the bottom of the crock pot. On top, spread one can of refried beans. Layer on a small diced tomato, then top with 1.5-2 lbs of ground beef.
Next, top your beef with one packet of taco seasoning, and spread an additional can of refried beans around the sides. Slice peppers and onions on top for a fajita-inspired filling, or leave the vegetables out for more traditional beef and bean taco filling.
Cover with the lid and cook on low for 8 hours.
Pick your shell, pick your taco toppings, and enjoy the flavorful beef on your tacos. It’s perfect for Taco Tuesday, but it’s great for any other day of the week, too!
